- The Official Libertarian Party (LP) Website-
Run by the national committee, this resource has articles about what LP members across the country are doing to promote liberty. Also available are information about state and local parties, as well as important leader contact information. You can use this site to find voter registration info and a party membership form as well.
- The Free State Project-
The Free State Project is an agreement among 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property.
- Libertarianism On The ODP-
The Libertarian section of the Open Directory Project. Check here for a cornucopia of libertarian web sites, organized by topic. Whether you're looking for a specific topic, or just learning about "the 'L' word", you'll find something of value.
- Bruce Cohen for Congress!-
The official campaign web site of Bruce Cohen, candidate for the 48th House District, which includes Huntington and Laguna Beaches in Los Angeles. If you're in the 48th, remember to vote for him, and check out his campaign site for more details on his qualifications and positions on the issues that matter to you.
- Democracy Is Not Freedom!-
A well organized and educational site that effectively demonstrates why the United States was founded as a republic, not a democracy- and why. Additionally, learn why democracy in of itself sucks, and what you can do about it. Be sure to check out their third-party essays and excellent suggested reading list.
- The Advocates for Self-Government-
Home of the famous and ever-popular "World's Smallest Political Quiz, as well as many activism related information and merchandise. This is a good jumping-off point for political activists of all kinds.
- Free Talk Live!-
Free Talk Live is a great pro-liberty talk radio show where you can call in and talk about whatever you feel like. The show tends to revolve around libertarian issues, but it frequently diverges in different directions as people call in about the things that matter to them. You may listen to the show live, or by downloading a particular show's MP3 archive after the fact. Be sure to check out the FTL Bulletin Board Service as well.
- The Portland Torture Protest-
This website exists to bring attention to the recent horrific acts done to human beings at the hands of the United States Federal Government, particularly the military and foreign intellegence agencies. The site facilitates a community of activists dedicated to informing the public about the atrocities commited.
- Holistic Politics-
Though this site is rather gaudy, its content is very good. The author, Carl S. Milstead, PhD, effectively demonstrates how we can better understand and be involved in politics by looking at all aspects of an issue. Clear, straightforward commentary is supplemented by graphics and charts to get the message across. Though Dr. Milstead is clearly libertarian, his advice is a must-read for every politician, activist, and citizen.
- FairVote.org-
Check out the official website of IRV, or "Instant Runoff Voting". What is IRV? Simply put, it's an alternative voting system in which you can pick not just one, but a number of candidates for a given office in order of preference. This could be the "next big thing" in American politics, so be sure to get informed!
- Patriot Debate Forums-
A very interesting and intellectual political forum. Not only will you find some Libertarians (like me), but you'll find people from all walks of political life to debate current events with. All kinds of issues are covered, and its a good way to try out your latest persuasion methods on the non-libertarian competition!
- Liberty Auctions-
If you have some Liberty Dollars or eLiberties (or even other currencies) to spend, or want to earn some for yourself, this auction site is the best place to go.
